I have known Stephanie for many years and I can’t overemphasize how good of a candidate she is to be elected to the SPPS school board. Stephanie galvanized the Wellstone school community when the site became a target for school closure by the previous administration. Her efforts connecting diverse groups of parents and community to stand together against injustice saved the school and through that process, Stephanie showed leadership and tenacity in the face of many difficulties. Stephanie is constantly communicating and listening to parents, educators, union and district leaders to be aware of current issues as well as to advocate for students and parents. She is always standing up and advocating for transparency in our district, as well as real engagement with the community. I know she is ready to take on the challenges and harness the  opportunities facing St Paul Public Schools. I look forward to and hope to serve with her.

Stephanie is a progressive fighter, and that’s what we need on the School Board. She fought the district to save Wellstone and won. She organized against the ICE occupation and helped deliver hundreds of thousands of dollars in mutual aid to our community. We can count on her to stand with us and I’m proud to stand with her as she runs for Saint Paul School Board.

Stephanie is an outstanding organizer in addition to being a committed parent. She has worked tirelessly to make sure the district has the resources it needs, and organized to support hundreds of families affected by the federal attack on our city and district. She will elevate the needs of all learners and would be a phenomenal school board member.

Stephanie is a fierce, proven fighter who steps up when our community needs her most, from leading the charge to save Wellstone Elementary to supporting families targeted during Operation Metro Surge. As a leader in the SPPS Parent Solidarity Network, she helped mobilize a district-wide effort that raised over $400,000 to keep 200 local families housed. She is exactly the type of relentless leader we need on the School Board, and I am incredibly proud to endorse her.

Stephanie is the kind of leader that when she sees a problem she steps up and takes action. When SPPS families needed help paying for rent she started a nonprofit and got to fundraising. When kids, parents and teachers needed to know their school was a safe space, she patrolled with others. She’s a natural organizer.  That’s why I support her for St. Paul School Board.
